Job Description:

We are seeking three Graduate Teaching Assistants to join our training programme from September 2024. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teachers to support the learning and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher with behaviour management and organisation of pupils
  • Deliver small intervention sessions to upskill your teaching practices
  • Work across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, supporting learning and development
  • Delivering 1:1 and group interventions, with the aim to raise attainment
  • Teaching phonics to groups of students, gaining teaching skills
  • Support students with SEN, learning how to differentiate material to ensure lessons are accessible for students with additional needs

Person Specification:

  • 1st Class / 2:1 Graduate - Any subjects
  • Strong Academic Background - Essential
  • An Aspiring Teacher looking to kickstart their career
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with children and young people
