About the Role

We are seeking a Fire Explosion and Risk Assessment Specialist to join our team at HSE Health and Safety Executive. In this role, you will work alongside colleagues to regulate companies undertaking offshore oil and gas operations or related activities.

The Energy division's front line team of specialists works tirelessly to enhance safety across various activities within the UK offshore major hazard industries. As part of this team, you will provide fire explosion and risk assessment support to IMT inspectors for both planned and reactive work.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support IMT inspectors in fire explosion and risk assessments
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote HSE expectations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments

Key Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of fire explosion and risk assessment principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively

This role offers a competitive salary package including an estimated annual salary of £62,500, depending on experience.
