Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Aseptic Technician to join our team in Lincoln, NE. As an Aseptic Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our animal health products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with aseptic filling, lyophilization, and capping procedures to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Monitor processes and report any unusual circumstances or events to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Assist with mechanical setup procedures in an aseptic environment to maintain a clean and sterile workspace.
- Use scientific measuring devices to establish and verify fill volumes, check specific gravity, and perform routine environmental monitoring.
- Learn and apply USDA and APHIS requirements to assembly operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Document processes accurately and completely in accordance with SOPs and GMPs.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Demonstrate basic mechanical skills and personal computer usage.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply safety procedures, standard operating procedures, maintenance instructions, and departmental procedures.
- Mathematical skills to perform conversions within the metric system and complete controlled documents and inventory calculations using basic math.
- Ability to multitask and recognize product quality issues based on company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and ability to work in a team environment.
Working Conditions
- Manual dexterity using hands and fingers.
- Constant standing for extended periods.
- Frequent need to sit, kneel, crouch, and climb; reach with hands and arms.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
