Job Summary

The Shunter - Trailer Movement Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the timely movement of trailers within the Culina Group's logistics operations. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate trailer movements to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize delays
  • Communicate with drivers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth trailer transfers
  • Monitor and report on trailer status and any issues that may arise
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize trailer allocation and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant health and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Class 1 experience and a full C+E entitlement, CPC, and Tacho Card
  • Previous shunting experience and knowledge of trailer operations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-disciplined and motivated with a strong attention to detail
