Job Summary

Cannock Overnight Care Worker are required to provide dedicated care and support for young people with learning disabilities, autism, and epilepsy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes independence and well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a passion for working with vulnerable individuals. Previous experience in residential childcare is preferred but not essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, including enhanced qualified rates, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid induction, dedicated learning and development programmes, and a pension scheme.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our overnight care team at Cannock, where you will work closely with colleagues to provide 24/7 support and care for our young people. The role requires flexibility, energy, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised care and support to each young person, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive team culture
• Participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory bodies
