Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at Real Life Options. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with Learning Disabilities, providing person-centred support and empowering them to make informed decisions about their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with Learning Disabilities in their own homes, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, medication administration, and budgeting guidance.
  • Encourage and support individuals to engage in activities that promote social interaction, leisure, and personal growth.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, honesty, and excellence.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, although full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including day, evening, and sleepover shifts.
  • Use of a vehicle is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Enhanced Adult DBS required.
