Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Cardiac Imaging Specialist to join our team at the Transformation Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic clinician to deliver high-quality care for Cardiology patients while sub-specialising in cardiac imaging.

About the Role

This 12-month fixed term contract offers comprehensive training in cardiac imaging, with a particular emphasis on advanced echo, TOE (including interventional echo/TOE), and MRI. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of experienced imaging cardiology consultants, gaining broad exposure to complex cardiac imaging cases.

Key Responsibilities

The fellow will spend most of their time undertaking diagnostic testing (4-6 sessions per week). There may be opportunities to join the registrar on-call rota, but this is not mandatory. The ideal candidate will have evidence of higher specialist training in Cardiology and completion of core ST training or equivalent.
