About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Adaptable Recruitment. As part of our high-growth business based in North Wales, you will play a key role in building and maintaining our Accounts Payable function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes to ensure accurate and timely payment.
  • Enter and verify supplier invoices using SAP, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process employee expenses and handle supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and request credit notes when necessary to minimize financial discrepancies.
  • Assist with supplier setup verification and perform other duties as needed by the Finance Manager to support the team's goals.
Ideal Candidate
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial transactions and procedures.
  • AAT qualification or working towards desirable, with a solid foundation in accounting principles.
  • SAP experience is a plus, but not essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders are crucial.
