Physiotherapist - Community and Acute Settings

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our innovative and proactive rotational scheme team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across various specialties, including MSK, Trauma and Orthopedics, Neurology, and Respiratory, in both acute and community settings.
Main Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of patients, performing functional assessments and providing treatment in a variety of clinical settings.
- Work under the supervision of mentors, with opportunities for regular training, clinical reasoning sessions, peer review, and case conferences.
- Contribute to evidence-based audit and research projects to support clinical practice and team development.
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of learning, CPD, and audit activity relevant to clinical work.

Person Specification- Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy
- Good standard of general education, including GCSE maths and English grade C and above
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council
- Experience in respiratory, stroke and neurology, musculo-skeletal conditions, and older people
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload, delegate work to assistants and students, and cope with a range of options and situations
- Demonstrate a professional attitude, interest in developing expertise within Physiotherapy, and ability to take a team lead role
- Understanding of a range of physiotherapy practices, routine and non-routine, requiring expertise within the field of physiotherapy
- Ability to modify treatment techniques and offer a variety of treatment options
- Ability to provide highly developed physical skills, cope with moving/manoeuvring patients/equipment, and frequently concentrate on patient assessments and treatments
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, commit to a 7-day working and on-call commitment, and understand the legal responsibilities of the profession
