Lead Home Care Operations Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Home Care Operations Manager to join our team at North Lanarkshire Council.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to lead our Home Support Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to our community-based home support workers across North Lanarkshire.
The successful candidate will have operational responsibility for implementing effective systems of accountability, quality assurance, and performance management, ensuring that all personal support plans are monitored and reviewed within statutory timescales.
Key Responsibilities- To assist the Service Delivery Manager in implementing and maintaining effective systems of accountability, quality assurance, and performance management;
- To ensure that all personal support plans are monitored and reviewed within statutory timescales;
- To co-ordinate and manage a team of dispersed Home Support Workers, ensuring effective use and management of resources;
The ideal candidate will possess extensive working experience within a social work, home support, voluntary, or independent sector setting, and hold a SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent. Successful applicants who do not currently hold a relevant qualification will be required to complete this within 3 years of commencing in post.
What We OfferNorth Lanarkshire Council offers a competitive salary range of £39,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

- Eligibility to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to commencing in this role and be registered or eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
