**Job Title:** SEMH Teaching Assistant

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a dynamic and inclusive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to children with SEMH needs, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with class teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring the needs of SEMH pupils are met.
  • Assist in creating a safe and supportive learning environment, fostering positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making recommendations for targeted interventions.
  • Work closely with the SENCO and other professionals to ensure seamless support for SEMH pupils.

Requirements:

  • Child workforce only DBS on the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Relevant qualifications and training in SEMH support or a related field
