Job Summary

We are seeking a Psychology graduate or student to join our dedicated team at an Outstanding Primary School in Barking & Dagenham. The successful candidate will provide support to class teachers, assist children with SEND/SEMH needs, and work closely with non-verbal children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
  • Assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
  • Working closely with 2 children who are non-verbal
  • Supporting pupils in and out of lessons
  • Monitoring and recording interventions
Requirements
  • A hardworking graduate/Student with strong academics and a passion for learning
  • Previous experience with children and SEN/SEMH needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with Non-Verbal children
  • Previous experience working 1:1
  • Someone resilient and able to overcome challenges
