Job Description

As an Upskilling Specialist - Electrical and Mechanical at Make UK, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery and development of our Electrical and Mechanical Commercial and Upskilling training programme.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on training to commercial delegates, ensuring they receive high-quality learning experiences.
  • Administer course materials efficiently, managing day-to-day delegate management and administration tasks.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to the Commercial Manager on new industrial applications and developments.

Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge of electrical and mechanical topics, including maintenance, health and safety, fluid power, and electrical inspection testing and verification.
  • Experience in electrics in industrial settings, including automation, machining, properties, and workshop practices.
  • A time served apprentice, relevant level 3 qualification, or equivalent.
  • Skills-specific NVQ level 3 or higher.
  • A1 Assessor qualified (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills and good presentation technique.
  • Ability to maintain good customer relationships.
  • Right to work in the UK and prepared to travel when required.
