About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Education Specialist Coordinator to join our SEND team at Total People. The successful candidate will have experience working with learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and be able to provide support and guidance to colleagues across the organization.

This permanent position comes with a competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, and 37 hours of work per week. Travel may be required nationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • To oversee the EHCP provision at Total People, ensuring all learners with EHCPs receive the support they need to progress and achieve.
  • To support the development and implementation of Total People's SEND strategy.
  • To develop and maintain current, up-to-date knowledge of legislation, research, and developments within the field of SEND and LDD.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in working with learners with EHCPs.
  • A Level 5 SEND qualification or higher, or willingness to work towards it.
  • Experience of working with internal & external agencies to identify, plan, deliver, and evaluate EHCP provision.
