Exciting Opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic supply chain initiatives that will support business growth and improve operational performance in the manufacturing environment. You will develop and implement supply chain processes that will reduce lead times, improve on-time delivery, and optimize inventory levels. You will also work with the global category management team to develop a preferred supplier base that supports the company's growth objectives.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to support business growth and improve operational performance.
  • Develop and implement supply chain processes to reduce lead times, improve on-time delivery, and optimize inventory levels.
  • Work with the global category management team to develop a preferred supplier base that supports the company's growth objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Benchmark external best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement to supply chain processes.
  • Lead negotiations and completion of contracts/supplier agreements.
  • Responsible for 'make or buy' decisions and implementing a rigorous and disciplined process for managing the supply base.
Requirements
  • Extensive previous experience in supply chain, logistics, and/or purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or a recognized qualification in purchasing, business management, or a related field.
  • Experience in new business and aftermarket.
  • Advanced knowledge of procurement principles, theories, and processes.
  • Experience demonstrates continuous improvement and deployment of lean within supply chain.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • A strong understanding of ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
