About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant Secondary school in Waltham Forest. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of needs, including those with challenging behaviors or special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group support to students in the classroom and outside of it
  • Assist teachers with daily tasks and help to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement interventions in Maths, Science, and English
  • Support students with low-level ability and provide additional support to those who require it
  • Be a positive role model and build strong relationships with students and colleagues
