About the Role:

T&K Associates is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Installation Specialist. As a Trainee Installation Specialist, you will participate in a comprehensive training program designed to teach the fundamentals of installation and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a structured training program to learn the basics of installation and repair.
  • Work alongside experienced installers to gain practical experience and knowledge in the field.
  • Attend training sessions on safety procedures, technical skills, and customer service.
  • Assist in the installation of appliances on new build housing developments.
  • Learn how to properly connect appliances to utilities (water, gas, and electricity) under supervision.
  • Support the setup and initial testing of appliances to ensure they function correctly.
  • Interact with customers and learn how to address basic customer inquiries and concerns regarding appliance installation and maintenance.
  • Follow instructions to ensure all installations comply with relevant codes and standards.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience is required, as this is a trainee role; however, GCSEs or equivalent are preferred.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career in appliance installation and repair.
  • Any technical coursework or hands-on experience in related fields is preferred.
  • Basic mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • CSCS card is desirable; if not, the successful applicant will be required to obtain one, which the company will reimburse.
