Position Summary:


As an Electrical Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation on site of the installation and commissioning of overhead cranes and associated products. You will liaise with the Technical Services Manager to achieve installation of the equipment in a safe manner, on time and within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer. This role will involve working at the manufacturing facility, as well as on customers' sites throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.


You will have a comprehensive knowledge of 3 phase motor control systems, including PLCs and inverter control. You will also have mechanical or electrical qualification with a heavy manufacturing environment, NVQ level 3 or above, and 17th Edition certification. You will be able to identify and resolve faults and required operational changes, and have a full UK driving licence.


Additional benefits include hotels/bed and breakfasts provided when working abroad, an evening meal, and a £50 daily allowance. PPE, specific tools, training, workwear, phone, and laptop will also be provided.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of 3 phase motor control systems, including PLCs and inverter control.
