The Health Research Authority (HRA) is a leading organisation in the UK, responsible for protecting and promoting the interests of patients and the public in health and social care research. As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HRA's digital transformation, including the Research Systems Programme (RSP) and the digital team financial area.

Key responsibilities will include managing the finances for these areas, investigating and advising on complex issues, and providing corporate reports and strategic financial planning advice. You will be responsible for leading the overall management and performance of finance for digital transformation, preparing strategic and operational financial information, and providing high-quality business partnering services.

Additionally, you will ensure that you maintain an excellent level of strategic, technical, and operational expertise over the financial, employee record, and expenses systems in operation. You will provide a framework of assurance to the Director and Deputy Director, supporting the business planning process, risk management, and ensuring compliance with policy and quality management documents.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • CCAB qualification (equivalent to a Postgraduate Degree) or significant equivalent practical experience
