About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Adult Social Care Practitioner to join our team at Mariposa Care Group Ltd in Carlisle. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality personal care and support to our residents, promoting their dignity, respect, and privacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing person-centred care and support to residents, taking into account their individual needs and preferences.
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
  • Documenting all care provided and ensuring that agreed procedures and processes are followed.
  • Fostering meaningful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the overall smooth running of the care home.

Requirements

  • A passion for caring and helping others.
  • Good English and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
