About the Role

As an Educational Psychologist with Find Apprenticeships, you will have the opportunity to work with children, families, and schools in the community, providing specialist psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations.

Job Specifications

This is a permanent role with an estimated salary of £72,920 per annum, based on national averages for similar roles in Wolverhampton.

Responsibilities

  1. Deliver psychological services to children, families, and schools within the community.
  2. Conduct assessments and interventions with individuals and groups, providing insights and strategies to support their development.
  3. Collaborate effectively within a multiagency area team, contributing to a holistic approach in addressing the needs of children.
  4. Provide expertise and support to schools and professionals on best practices in educational psychology.
  5. Develop and implement programs that aid in the educational and social inclusion of young people with special needs.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A good honours degree in Psychology or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology (or working towards).
  • Eligibility for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) (or working towards).
