Grounds Maintenance Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at JPF Limited. As a key member of our commercial grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and safety of our clients' properties.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out regular grounds maintenance tasks, including hedge cutting, strimming, blowing, grass cutting, weeding, and litter picking.
  • Operate a range of equipment, including strimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers.
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • PA1 + PA6 certificates desirable but not essential.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
