Job Title: Chief Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Parkinson Gray Associates. As a key member of our Mechanical Division, you will be responsible for overseeing the design of complex HVAC systems and leading preconstruction design projects.

About the Role:

  • Lead the design of HVAC systems for various projects, ensuring they meet the requirements of low-carbon legislation.
  • Collaborate with the Electrical Division and Senior Management Team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong commercial understanding and appreciation of budgets and project expenditure.
  • Work closely with Estimators, Project Managers, and Technicians to ensure accurate design and implementation of HVAC systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing projects to achieve outstanding results.
  • Strong commercial understanding and appreciation of budgets and project expenditure.
  • Experience of dealing with schemes at all stages and the inevitable challenges that bring in live environments.
  • Ability to work closely with Estimators, Project Managers, and Technicians to ensure accurate design and implementation of HVAC systems.
