As a Senior Project Manager at Mitie, you will be expected to lead your team and projects with ownership, ensuring excellence in execution, client satisfaction, and adherence to financial and health and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on project planning, execution, and delivery. You will be responsible for project budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation, ensuring that projects are financially viable and cost-effective.
Additionally, you will be responsible for compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM), and promoting a culture of safety and well-being on all projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing project teams and ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration
- Developing and implementing project plans, including project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Coordinating with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Monitoring and controlling project budgets, including expense tracking and financial reporting
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety and well-being
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a multi-project environment, managing multiple clients and delivering high-quality projects
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive teams towards excellence
- Strong understanding of project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
