Job Overview

Eden Futures is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our Supported Living Services team in Newark. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to the local team to ensure the delivery of exceptional support services to individuals with learning or physical disabilities, acquired brain injury, autism, or mental illness.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in providing person-centered support services that meet the needs and aspirations of service users.
  • Develop and implement effective risk assessments and management plans to ensure the wellbeing of service users.
  • Recruit, select, and train new staff members, ensuring they receive the necessary training and development to meet the needs of the service.
  • Work closely with the training team to ensure all staff receive the correct training and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies that meet the needs of the service and the organization.
  • Ensure effective communication and partnership working with external agencies, service users, and their circle of support.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of services delivered, making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to support and develop a team.
  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a Supported Living or Residential service, preferably with adults with Learning Disabilities or Mental Health conditions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding role.
  • Willingness to undertake further training or development opportunities.
