About the Role

Hawkwood is partnering with a pioneering FinTech company in Cheltenham to find a Senior People Partner who will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's culture and driving growth.

The company has achieved remarkable milestones, with a projected £100m revenue by 2028. They have a strong track record of innovation and have received B-Corp accreditation, reflecting their commitment to social responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elevate Performance: Develop and implement strategies to foster high performance, tackling tough conversations with confidence.
  • Shape Recruitment: Lead the recruitment strategy, onboarding process, and employer branding, ensuring a solid growth plan is in place.
  • Strategise Growth: Oversee annual headcount planning and budgeting, aligning growth plans with the company strategy.
  • Enhance Core Processes: Manage essential people processes, from onboarding to benefits administration, ensuring a seamless experience for all team members.
  • Drive Development: Build and execute training and development programs, empowering the team with the skills and knowledge to excel.
  • Optimise Reward: Lead on the reward strategy, including salary reviews and benefits management, to ensure a competitive and attractive rewards package.
  • Leverage Data: Own all people data and insights, transforming key data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Manage Systems: Oversee the HRIS system and payroll changes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
About You
  • You will have a recent background in a People and Culture role within a high-growth, people-first environment, ideally a startup or scale-up.
  • You'll need hands-on knowledge of all aspects of the people experience, from onboarding to performance to career progression.
  • You'll have experience working autonomously, ideally having worked in a stand-alone role before.
  • You will live within an hour's distance of Cheltenham and be able to travel into the office easily, three times a week, or be looking to relocate to this area.
