At Carbon Rewind, we are committed to reducing heating bills and carbon emissions for homeowners and tenants. As our Insulation Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our continued growth and ensuring high-quality, efficient delivery of all insulation works.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the recruitment and retention of high-quality teams to deliver insulation works on site, including shortlisting, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing management of new insulation installers, multitraders, and associated operatives.
  • Developing and implementing technical standards (SOPs) for insulation works and ensuring these are maintained consistently across all related works, including ensuring that all operatives consistently upload accurate and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Developing and delivering a robust training program for insulation operatives, including initial training (onboarding), ongoing support, and toolbox talks as required.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for technical support for all site operatives as required.
  • Advising on ongoing capacity and identifying requirements for field resources, coordinating with HR and operations teams to optimize resource efficiency.
  • Staying up-to-date with technical and regulatory developments relating to insulation works, including building relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and regulators.
  • Working closely with the HSEQ Manager to develop and implement an ongoing quality assurance program, including carrying out quality assurance inspections on site and ensuring that outcomes are clearly reported and actioned.
  • Working closely with the accounts and compliance teams to oversee the payment process for all insulation operatives.
  • Working closely with operations/customer service staff in the office to address all relevant technical queries and liaise with customers as required to support this.
  • Working closely with the design team to implement a consistent and robust design process for all insulation works.
  • Working closely with other members of the technical management team to ensure close coordination across disciplines.
  • Building and managing close relationships with system designers, regulators, and any other trade bodies as required.
  • Working with the procurement team to help optimize logistics, including stock levels, accurate selection and picking of installation materials, and coordinated delivery times.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
