Role Overview

As a Deaf Support Professional, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex needs and mental health conditions at our service in Leeds. Your expertise in British Sign Language (BSL) and excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with our clients and their families.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with varying degrees of deafness, including those who are culturally deaf, and a willingness to learn and develop their BSL skills further. You will also have a passion for making a difference in the lives of others and a commitment to providing person-centered care that meets the unique needs of each individual.

About the Job

Our service at Constance Way in Leeds provides a range of support services to meet the diverse needs of our clients, including residential care, supported living, and outreach services. As a Deaf Support Professional, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care that is tailored to the specific needs of each client.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing person-centered care that meets the unique needs of each client
  • Building strong relationships with clients and their families through effective communication and empathy
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals to deliver high-quality care that is coordinated and seamless
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of care plans that are tailored to the specific needs of each client


What We Offer
