About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Care Specialist to join our team in Leeds. As a Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialist support to individuals who are Deaf with complex needs and/or mental health conditions.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a brand-new supported living service for 4 clients who require specialist support and care.

You will become a key worker to a client, supporting them with independent living skills, emotional support, monitoring of their medication, and maintaining safety, privacy, and dignity in accordance with CQC regulations and organisation policies and procedures.

The salary for this position is approximately £28,080 per annum, with the potential to earn up to £31,449 per annum full-time. This includes additional pay for night working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist support and care to clients
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet individual needs
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs and mental health challenges
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Deaf clients using BSL or willingness to learn
  • Good understanding of CQC regulations and organisational policies and procedures
