Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Quantity Management Specialist to join our team in Lovell's East Midlands region. This exciting opportunity is for a permanent 40 hours per week position, working on Mixed Tenure and/or Contracting schemes.

The role will be site-based, with occasional travel to our regional office in Derby. As a Quantity Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the financial cost control and reporting of one or more developments from the Award up to and including completion of client and sub-contract final accounts.

You will ensure effective cash management and careful administration of subcontractor accounts, cultivating longstanding relationships and promoting dispute avoidance. Your strong commercial skills will enable you to maximise value recovery, cost control, and cash management.

Educated to a minimum of degree level in quantity surveying, you will have substantial relevant experience gained from within the construction industry. Client-driven, with strong decision-making and communication skills, you will be able to prioritise work against tight deadlines and sometimes conflicting priorities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, you will have significant knowledge of measurement and valuation, as well as final accounts and sub-contract orders and buying. With a strong understanding of COINS, you will be comfortable preparing and understanding financial reports.

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include holidays (26 days), life assurance, pension, private medical insurance, and access to a discount portal.
