About the Role

Livewell Southwest CIC is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Children's Mental Health Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to children, young people, and their families in Plymouth, South Hams, and West Devon.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of effective CAMHS pathways, focusing on early intervention and accessible services.
  • Manage a team of professionals providing clinical assessment, evaluation, care planning, and risk management for children and young people experiencing mental health problems.
  • Provide clinical supervision to staff working with children and young people, ensuring high-quality care and support.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to develop and deliver multiagency services, promoting a stigma-free approach to mental health.
  • Monitor and evaluate service delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance service quality.

Person Specification
  • At least three years of experience in line management responsibility for multidisciplinary teams working with children and young people experiencing mental health problems.
  • Postqualifying experience of clinical assessment, evaluation, care planning, and risk management in work with those experiencing mental health problems.
  • Experience of providing clinical supervision to professionals working with children and young people experiencing mental health problems.
