Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Programme Management Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our programme management team, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile infrastructure projects across Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver project programmes in accordance with client requirements
  • Provide technical excellence and innovation to ensure time-efficient and high-quality outputs
  • Develop and maintain project schedules at various stages of the project lifecycle
  • Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships
  • Support junior planning engineers in the delivery of project programmes

Requirements:

  • Member of a relevant professional body with chartered status or educated to degree level
  • Ability to communicate programmes to stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience of schedule integration on large multidisciplinary projects
  • Strong understanding of baseline development and management, as well as Earned Value Management processes
  • Experience of cost and resource loading/management/forecasting within programmes
  • Experience of applying performance measurement techniques to programmes
  • Knowledge of/experience in the UK infrastructure projects
  • Experience of NEC contracts
  • Ability to understand and utilise CAD drawings/specifications/schedules to facilitate build-up of project programmes
  • Understanding of the principles of Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and integration of mitigation actions within programmes
