About the Role

As a Customer Service Ambassador at Salthouse Harbour Hotel in Ipswich, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will contribute to creating a positive guest experience.

Main responsibilities include greeting and welcoming guests, check-in and check-out, answering phone calls, providing information about hotel facilities and local attractions, handling guest requests and complaints, and maintaining accurate records.

Estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Working hours include 5 days a week on a rota basis to include weekends and evenings.

To excel in this position, you will need strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in using hotel reservation systems or similar software.

  1. Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Check-in and check-out guests accurately.
  3. Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
  4. Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  5. Handle guest requests and complaints, escalating issues as necessary.
