The estimated salary for this role is up to £44,539 per annum.
Job Description- Support senior colleagues with prioritization, allocation, and planning of work, ensuring effective budget management and value for public money.
- Contribute to service monitoring and evaluation, undertaking needs analysis and developing strategies to maintain high-quality services.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and appraisal to social work students on placements.
- Undertake assessments and interventions in accordance with statutory requirements, minimizing risks and promoting independence.
- Manage complex cases, promoting early intervention and self-directed support to improve quality of life for service users and their carers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, and communities to enable informed decision-making.
- Use proactive supervision to extend effective practice, reflection, and career development.
- Ensure statutory responsibilities are met and quality practice standards are achieved.
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree or equivalent qualification (DipSW, CQSW, CSS).
- Knowledge of UK legislation relevant to children and families.
- Experience working with children, young people, and their families.
