Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client's property services division. As a business, they have a turnover of over £150 million Per Annum and deliver day to day responsive repairs, planned maintenance & Fire Safety and retrofit projects across the UK.

This role is to join the commercial department for the property services division. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience as a Commercial manager, however they would consider an Quantity Surveyor that is looking for a step up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost planning and budgeting
  • Closing out and setting up contracts commercially
  • Liaising with operational teams to ensure works are completed on time and within budget
  • Reconciling cost/value reports & profit forecasts
  • Working off the NHF Schedule of rates
  • Approving sub-contractors & supplier payments
  • Attending & chairing progress meetings with clients
  • Regular on-site visits
  • Overseeing P&L with operational leads
  • Cash flow management
