Quantity Surveyor Job Description

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their property services division in the South East. As a business with a turnover of over £150 million Per Annum, they deliver day to day responsive repairs, planned maintenance & Fire Safety and retrofit projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost planning and budgeting for commercial projects
  • Closing out and setting up contracts commercially
  • Liaising with operational teams to ensure works are completed on time and within budget
  • Reconciling cost/value reports & profit forecasts
  • Working off the NHF Schedule of rates
  • Approving sub-contractors & supplier payments
  • Attending & chairing progress meetings with clients
  • Regular on-site visits
  • Overseeing P&L with operational leads
  • Cash flow management
