Care and Community Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team at Dovehaven Care Homes. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for creating engaging social and recreational events that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
You will work closely with our residents to identify their interests and preferences, and develop a range of activities that promote their physical and mental wellbeing. This may include planning and implementing events, such as arts and crafts sessions, exercise classes, and outings.
In return, we offer a competitive hourly rate of £12, as well as a range of benefits, including fortnightly pay, 28 days annual leave (pro rata), free parking, and comprehensive induction and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement social and recreational activities for residents
- Consult with residents to identify their interests and preferences
- Develop and deliver activities that promote physical and mental wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to achieve our goals
