Consultant Haematologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Haematologist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Haematology department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinically led, integrated Haematology Service.
About the Role- Provide specialist advice on all aspects of Haematology to colleagues within the trust and in primary care.
- Participate in the clinical and laboratory Haematology Service, including the provision of outpatient clinics and laboratory cover.
- Engage in departmental meetings, clinical governance, and teaching to the junior medical team.
- Contribute to the development of our Haematology Service, including the implementation of new treatments and therapies.
- Interest and training suitable for a Haematology and lymphoma specialist post.
- Understanding of clinical risk management.
- Experience and ability to work in multi-professional teams.
- Evidence of participation in audit and research experience.
