Consultant Haematologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Haematologist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Haematologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our Haematology service.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide outpatient clinics at both Royal Sussex County Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital, including lymphoma clinics.
- Participate in the weekly Haematology MDT and provide cover and advice to the Haematology day case unit.
- Provide ward cover for inpatient lymphoma and support the suspected lymphoma pathway.
- Contribute to the development of our Haematology service, including laboratory cover and teaching.
- Basic medical degree and MB BS, FRCR or equivalent specialist qualification.
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice.
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the appointment.
- Higher degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in teaching and training.
- Research experience and publications.
