We are currently recruiting for a Senior Instrumentation Technician to work with our client in the Grimsby area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in plant control systems and knowledge of ATE to take their career to the next level.

The successful candidate will have a HND or HNC in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering and a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role. They will be responsible for providing support for all day-to-day operations and development projects around the Site instrumentation and control systems.

A key aspect of this role is working closely with the Control Systems Engineer to provide control, software development, and instrumentation support to the sites continuous improvement strategy and ongoing projects. The salary for this position is £55,000 - £75,000 per annum. If you have the skills and experience required, we'd love to hear from you.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Provide the Control, software development, and Instrumentation support to the Control Systems Engineer for the sites continuous improvement strategy and ongoing projects.
  • Ensure Compliance to all site Safety Health & Environment procedures within area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for site control system projects including front end design, programming, commissioning, and handover to operations.
  • Manage external project C & I resources ensuring relevant competency and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Day to day troubleshooting of issues related to Instrumentation and control systems.
  • Deputy for Control Systems Engineer.
  • Continual communication link between C&I and Production Personnel on all C&I Aspects.
  • Site support out of hours of issues related to Instrumentation and control systems.
