About the Role

MRCC is a leading provider of learning solutions, and we are seeking an experienced Academic Content Reviewer to join our team. This role is responsible for reviewing science content developed by our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure alignment with the Cambridge Competency Framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review Learning Objectives (LOs): Ensure that all LOs adhere to Bloom's Taxonomy and are aligned with the Cambridge Competency Framework.
  • Assessment Probes: Review various assessment probes, including multiple-choice questions (MCQ), gap-fill exercises, categorization, matching, and ranking, based on the unit knowledge.
  • Content Review:
  1. Thoroughly review Knowledge Slides: Ensure the information is accurate and relevant.
  2. Review Front of Class (FOC) slides and Knowledge Slides: Maintain consistency and quality across all educational materials.
  3. Language Alignment: Ensure the language of the content aligns with the target reading age and subject knowledge level of the learners.
Requirements

We are looking for candidates with prior experience with Cambridge curriculum standards and a strong background in educational content review. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
