About the School

We are seeking a talented teacher of science with strong subject knowledge and a passion for bringing their subject to life for our students. The successful candidate will support the Head of Science in designing and delivering a high-quality curriculum across the key stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Create opportunities for enrichment and extra-curricular work within the Science department.
  • Support the development of innovative lesson plans catering to diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student curiosity and enthusiasm for science.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for science education.
  • Experience teaching science at the secondary level, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Estimated Salary: £18,800 - £22,900 per annum (£9.30-£11.20 per hour). We offer a supportive working environment and opportunities for professional development.
