Enterprise Device Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Device Management Engineer to join our team at JD Group.
In this role, you will be responsible for the technical management of over 12,000 devices, including day-to-day administration, incident management, and project work.
The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise device management tools, such as Jamf, Soti, or SCCM/MECM, and a strong understanding of mobile device management solutions.
You will also be responsible for deploying and maintaining operating system images, packaging and deploying enterprise applications, and promoting the use of services available under enterprise agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incidents escalated by the IT Service Desk and collaborate with suppliers and application vendors to resolve.
- Central management of devices, including anti-virus, application deployment, and group policy.
- Maintain and update operating system images and deploy them to devices across the estate.
- Promote the use of services available under enterprise agreements, such as Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Attend remote sites to assist with device installations as required.
Requirements
- Experience with enterprise device management tools and mobile device management solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS and DHCP.
- Knowledge of application packaging techniques and deployment methods.
- Experience supporting Office 365 and enterprise anti-virus products.
- Ability to apply asset management processes for desktop hardware and software assets.
- Problem-solving skills within an IT environment and excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritise different activities and work well under pressure.
