About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BMS Project Engineer to join our National BMS Projects and Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the design, integration, and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS) for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and configure controller strategies for BMS solutions, including Trend, Tridium, and Distech.
  • Commission BMS installations and Graphics Head End on site, ensuring systems are delivered to client expectations.
  • Mentor and coach Controls engineers to develop their skills and enhance the overall knowledge base.
  • Conduct site visits to understand plant and site requirements, ensuring software strategies and head-end schematics accurately match.
  • Develop and utilize standard strategy and schematic designs for easy adoption by design and commissioning teams.
  • Support the wider BMS Operations teams with PPMs and Reactive Callouts on selected sites, if required.
  • Share knowledge and support with colleagues across the Projects and Controls Operations.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in BMS design, integration, and commissioning, ideally at the Trend Expert level.
  • Strong understanding of IT networks and IP configuration.
  • Ability to integrate solutions/systems through various protocols, including Modbus, MBus, and BACnet.
  • Excellent communication and partnership-building skills, with the ability to work with customers and suppliers to solve problems.
  • Basic knowledge of Metering and Open Protocol solutions.
