Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a small team of sign makers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Production Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end sign making process, from design to delivery, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Equipment Management: Operate and maintain advanced sign-making equipment, including CNC routers, laser engravers, large format roll and flatbed printers, and vinyl plotters.
  • Quality Control: Ensure every sign produced meets Timpson's high standards.
  • Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
Requirements

To be successful as a Sign Making Operations Manager, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the sign industry, including supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in design and production software, including Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, V-Carve, and Photoshop.
  • Hands-on experience with laser engraving, CNC routing, large format printing, and vinyl plotting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
