Care Support Lead

As a Senior Care Assistant at a care home, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You'll also support the clinical team in specific areas such as medication management, assessments, care planning and reviews. A warm, welcoming and vibrant environment is essential for our residents' well-being, which is why you'll play a key role in creating this atmosphere.
Your Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. You should have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly, and be able to demonstrate your ability to provide individualised care and support. As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll have opportunities to develop your career through ongoing training and development. In fact, many of our Senior Care Assistants progress into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.
