Job Overview

This is a challenging role that requires a highly skilled individual to manage and build relationships with farming customers, providing agronomic advice, sales and support on fertilisers and bio stimulants. The successful candidate will work closely with the Research and Development Manager, trials and commercial teams to include the Commercial Director and Sales Managers.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant qualification and experience of advising and selling relevant products out on farm. They will also need exceptional technical understanding of agronomic practices, crop nutrition and crop products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of farming customers- providing agronomic advice, sales and support on fertilisers and bio stimulants.
• Develop relationships with distributors and independent agronomists, providing advice and support where required.
• Prepare and implement technical development plans, ensuring the product range is at the forefront of technology.
• Provide technical training, internally and externally to include speaking at events, conferences and exhibitions.

Salary

We are offering an attractive salary package in line with your experience. We estimate this to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum.

Requirements

• A degree at BSc or above in a relevant qualification.
• FACTS and BASIS are highly desirable.
• Experience of advising and selling relevant products out on farm.
• Exceptional technical understanding of agronomic practices, crop nutrition and crop products.
