Psychology Graduate Learning Support Role

If you're a Psychology graduate looking to develop your experience in working with students with special educational needs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the teaching staff and providing individualized support to students with varying levels of need.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at an Outstanding Ofsted rated Primary School in the West Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN principles and experience working with children or adults with SEND.
The successful applicant will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement interventions tailored to the individual needs of each student. You will also contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
We offer a competitive salary range of £84-£95 per day, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development through our CPD program.
Responsibilities:
- Assist and support teaching staff in implementing lesson plans
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with varying levels of need
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- A patient and understanding approach
- An interest in working with students with special educational needs
- Existing DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
