We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Respiratory Ward team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based clinical care to patients with respiratory conditions, including those requiring interventions such as Bi-Pap and Optiflow.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, to provide holistic patient care.
  • Act as a role model, communicating effectively with patients, carers, and staff, in line with Trust values.
  • Take responsibility for delegated patients and their care needs, working closely with colleagues and offering support when required.
  • Continuously maintain and develop your own practice, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research.
Person Specification
  • NMC registration
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
