About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic SEN specialist to join our team in Loughborough. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing behavior management strategies to support positive behavior and engagement
  • Developing and reviewing IEPs tailored to individual student needs
  • Working collaboratively with therapists and other professionals to deliver comprehensive, holistic support

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role
  • Experience working with students with a range of special educational needs, such as autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
  • Knowledge and use of SEN assessment tools and techniques to monitor and evaluate student progress
